Enter the vehicle and close the door. How do you feel sitting in the driver’s seat? What words would you use to describe that feeling to a customer? Commanding? Comfortable? Something else?
Press the "START" button to activate Accessory Mode. (This powers the accessories of the car without starting the engine.)
To start the engine, press your foot on the brake and press the "START" button once more. Listen to the sound of the engine. How might a customer describe the sound? Strong? Powerful?
Place your hands around the wheel as you would if you were going to drive.
Take note of the fit and finish of the steering wheel. What words might you use to describe the feel and quality of it to a customer? Performance-oriented? Premium? Inviting?

With the Navigation view selected on the Digital Cockpit, touch the NAV button on the MIB display to bring up the map.
Now that Navigation is open on both the Digital Cockpit and the MIB display, you can toggle which view displays the map, using two different methods:
From any the Navigation view, press up or down on the black, up/down side buttons adjacent to the silver toggles(button “B” shown above)
Press the left on the silver toggle (button “A” shown above) to bring up the options available
Select "Display map" using the “OK” button on the steering wheel controls
The map will appear directly in the Digital Cockpit
On the Digital Cockpit, ensure Navigation is the selected view
Ensure the NAV menu is up on the MIB display (Hit the NAV key if it isn’t)
Select "Map" at the bottom right of the overlay menu on the MIB screen to toggle which screen displays the map. This will automatically shift the map onto whichever display it is currently NOT showing. Toggle a few times to see this in action.
Finally, cycle to the last remaining VIEW heading and scroll to the Driver Assist Systems checkbox. Select it and note how it changes the driver information displayed on the Digital Cockpit.
Take a moment to interact with the Atlas’ available 4MOTION terrain selections and Drive Mode Personalization features:
Since 4MOTION is standard on the Atlas SEL Premium, you can use the control knob in the center console to select from the following 4MOTION terrain settings: “On Road,” “Snow,” “Off Road,” or “Off Road Individual.”
To activate different terrain settings, turn the control knob to On Road. Each is designed to offer optimal traction in the selected terrain. Do NOT press down—once the control knob is turned to the desired setting it is “set.” You will see a confirmation of your selected 4MOTION terrain setting on the MIB display.
Take a moment to cycle through the available 4MOTION terrain settings, taking note of the confirmation given on the MIB screen.
When finished exploring 4MOTION terrain settings, turn the knob so the 4MOTION mode is set to "On-Road." (the street icon)
Press down on the center "Mode" button (you should see the backlight turn on). By pressing on the Mode button, you can cycle through the available Drive Modes, which offers four personalized on-road settings: “Eco,” “Normal,” Sport,” or “Custom.”
The Memory Function for the driver’s seat provides the ability to create three unique driver profiles for seat position and outside rearview mirrors (OSRV). The process of storing a new position is as easy as “ADJUST, SET, STORE.”
Try to save a new seating position:
Adjust driver’s seat and OSRV mirrors to your preferred setting (Seats: fore/aft, height, recline angle, backrest, and lumbar support).
Press the SET button (do not hold).
Next, store settings by pressing one of the three numbered memory buttons (you will hear an audio confirmation).
Congratulations! Now test out your settings by moving your seat to a different position, then press and hold your setting. Notice how your personalization settings are recalled!
